Hello, I run a counselling practice in East Lothian, offering both in person and remote counselling.
Whether you're feeling lost, hopeless, or overwhelmed, I can help you to navigate your way through change, feel more hopeful and more authentically you.
I've supported people struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement and low self-esteem, and people impacted by a sudden change such as ill-health, bereavement, and relationship breakdown.
I work within the framework of the person-centred conditions, creating a non-judgmental environment and offering empathy and compassion to my clients. This creates the foundation of our work, as this setting nurtures trust, growth, and change. I use psychodynamic theory to help explore thought patterns, feelings, and the relational experiences of clients.
Counselling offers a unique space to build a connection with someone based on compassion and empathy. It's a space for you to be you. In our sessions together, I will meet you where you are and work with what you bring to each session. I will sit with you within the emotions you’re feeling and help you to make sense of your thoughts.
