I'm a warm and down-to-earth Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, working both online and in-person in Dalston, London E8 from Tuesdays to Fridays. I offer weekly therapy with adults on a 1-to-1 basis. I've worked with people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, loneliness & isolation, bereavement, conflicts at work or home, traumatic experiences & finding meaning, amongst other issues - including a more general sense of unease or dissatisfaction. No issue is too big or small to bring; you're welcome just as you are.
Whilst I'm privileged to work with people from many, varied walks of life, my first career was in the performance arts & I bring my experience and understanding of the particular difficulties that actors, musicians, dancers - & other creative folk - can face, to my work with them. My MSc Research Dissertation explored the impact of attending boarding school.
You'll decide what we explore; we'll move sensitively through your inner landscape, making sense of it together. I'm deeply committed to offering a non-judgmental, authentic and warm relationship in which laughter is welcome and in which you'll be supported and empowered to find fresh understanding and solutions for positive change.
