I work with whoever comes to me but also have special interest in the following groups: Women who may have a nagging feeling that life could be more beautiful. They may feel trapped by past choices or have experienced a wake-up call or final straw such as a bereavement, relationship difficulties, or peri-menopause or menopause difficulties. Teenagers who feel overwhelmed with life. They may find it hard to put their feelings into words or to talk to friends and family. Whatever your problems and background, I aim to provide you with support and encouragement to face your feelings and find resources and hope for the future. I respect the courage it takes to come to therapy and will support you to live your life with a greater sense of authenticity and balance, and to help you find choices that feel right for you.
Outside of therapy I am Head of Philosophy, Theology and Ethics at a local school, and I enjoy finding my own well-being through writing, mindful photography, music and following my creative intuition. I have three grown up children in their twenties, and I am in search of another whippet. I very much look forward to meeting you for an initial meeting.
