Hello, I’m an integrative psychotherapist working with the arts, in the final stages of training (UKCP, HCPC). My work in the NHS supports adults from all different cultures and life experiences with challenges, particularly trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. Over time, a client can begin to experience a deeper inner connection with themselves, more capacity to manage emotions, greater insight into how life experiences have shaped them, and an enhanced
well-being. If you chose to work with me, I would aim to support you in exploring your life situation, using the arts as part of my therapeutic approach.
My work integrates mindfulness, psychodynamic thinking about how early life shapes us, the mind–body connection, trauma theory, and engagement with subtle implicit experiences using the creative process. You don't need any experience in creating art or to consider yourself creative to participate in art therapy. Sometimes people prefer to stay with talking.
I offer a warm and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I hope to encourage you to come into a different relationship with yourself, in which what is difficult can be owned and gently transformed within a richer perspective of your life. My work as a psychotherapist is informed by my own personal journey.
