I am a very experienced UKCP registered psychotherapist. I offer individual psychotherapy and counselling for adults and young people, in person or online, as well as play-based therapy for children. I work in a spacious room in Hebden Bridge. My training is integrative, which means I am able to draw on many theoretical models and approaches. The heart of the therapeutic work is always the development of a strong working relationship between client and therapist, through which we find together the most helpful way of working.
I work with clients experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship problems, post-traumatic stress, as well as issues relating to sexuality. I have a particular interest in supporting parents. I have worked for a number of charities supporting children and families, and in primary and secondary schools.
