You may seem capable on the outside yet on the inside feel anxious, depressed, self-critical or constantly on edge. Your experiences of childhood and relational trauma through emotional, domestic, sexual abuse and neglect may have left feelings of guilt, shame, over-responsibility and difficulty in trusting yourself or others. You might notice tension in your body, racing thoughts or a sense of being "on alert" or disconnected even when safe. You long for understanding, peace from self-criticism and negativity. You want to set healthy boundaries and experience greater ease in your life and relationships.

My aim is to meet you right where you are and we will spend time in the initial sessions making sense of what you're currently experiencing, what may be maintaining these difficulties and where you want to get to in therapy. I tend to use an integrative approach to therapy drawing on my varied experience and what we feel might best support you to move forwards. I have a special interest in somatic body-based interventions.
