Sometimes we can feel stuck, lost or overwhelmed by strong emotions. At these times, it can be useful to work with a counsellor; someone who can explore what is going on with you, understand things form your perspective and welcome all your parts without judgement. Working together with you, I can help you to gain clarity and understanding, become more self-aware and to feel less overwhelmed by your emotions and by life. I take a person-centred and integrative approach, incorporating elements of Internal Family Systems Therapy, Focusing and Polyvagal Theory informed work when appropriate.
I work with adults experiencing difficult emotions including grief, anxiety, depression and issues of self-esteem, as well as people who are feeling stuck, are going through a significant life change or who want to know and understand themselves and their relationships better. I am available for in-person, online and woodland sessions.
Counselling is a very personal experience and I believe it is important to find the right counsellor for you, which is why I offer a free initial meeting of up to 30 mins to give us both the opportunity to meet each other and decide if we feel we would work well together.
