In the 30 years since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, I have worked with people in both physical and mental health services I have substantial experience in helping and supporting children, young people, parents, adults, couples, families who are experiencing difficulties in life. I have a strong belief that people are inherently resilient and resourceful, and that with the right help and support people can overcome their problems and lead a happy and fulfilling life. In all my work I aim to help people to develop, restore or strengthen connections with those who are important in their lives.
I provide psychological therapy for people who try to deal and cope with a wide range of difficulties and challenges, including: • Unhappiness, loneliness, and grief •Fears and anxieties • Relationship problems • Parents having problems managing their children or feeling that their own difficulties are affecting their children •Traumatic experiences • Stress
