My name is Phoebe, I am a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist based in Bishop’s Stortford, Herts, offering in-person, telephone and online appointments. I trained as an Art Psychotherapist and am innately passionate about my profession as a result of my own experiences in Psychotherapy. I personally understand the feelings that arise as a client, and this allows me to be the empathic and compassionate Psychotherapist that, you as a client, need and deserve. I believe that absolutely everyone has the right to have to someone talk to, to be heard and to have a place where they won't be judged. You will find this in my practice.
My area of specialism is Autism Spectrum Disorder and related conditions, supporting young people (school refusal, challenging behaviour, bullying etc), bereavement, clinical depression and anxiety. However, I work with and have a breadth of experience in working with people of all ages and backgrounds, presenting all kinds of difficulties.
I am passionate about changing the misconceptions around Psychotherapy, and I am committed to reducing the stigma around mental health. I will provide you with a profound therapeutic space that is safe, non-judgemental and far from clinical. I work with many clients that have previously been put off by previous treatment and negative experiences they've had.
