‘I think I need therapy’ is probably a thought that has crossed your mind, and I expect that’s why you’re searching these listings. So hello and welcome. I’m Philippa, and I do understand that this may be a challenging time for you and that finding a therapist is a big decision to make. I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor supporting people who are anxious or grieving, frightened, lonely, struggling with depression or in distress. I offer a confidential space where you can feel safe, understood and trusted as you start to explore the reasons why you feel as you do.
In my day to day counselling, I work with clients suffering from the impact of relationship breakdowns, family estrangement, sadness, grief, anxiety and depression. I work with those who suffer from low self-esteem, clients who are dealing with bereavement and those struggling with addiction, and this is a also a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.
It is very important to me that anyone who needs my support can access counselling. As well as my online work using Zoom, I can offer telephone counselling, face to face appointments and I an offer Walk & Talk therapy in the beautiful surroundings of Bushy Park. Whatever your situation, we can find a way to help you get the support you need.
