I am an accredited psychotherapist and counsellor who works is based in the Kensington, Nottinghill area of central / west London. I meet and talk with people who, maybe like you, want to change how they feel. There may be something specific that you are aware of (depression, anxiety, bereavement), but often the specifics of the difficulty might not be apparent, but the unhappiness is. My work with my clients is about surfacing what's going and helping clients process their feelings to reach a happier, more settled place. I am Certified by the European Association of Psychotherapy and have been DBS checked and cleared.

I have worked, amongst other subjects, with trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, family issues, relationship difficulties, life changes (bereavement, retirement, loss or change of job), sense of identity, bullying, abuse (violent, sexual, emotional), neglect in upbringing, dissatisfaction, and a feeling of being numbed, out of touch with oneself.

Looking for help can be daunting. I would encourage you to maybe explore with a counsellor (call them, have a session) to see how it might feel for you, rather than try to make a decision about counselling without experiencing how it might feel for you. A bit like getting into a water, it can feel a bit daunting, but once in it can be feel life changing.
