I work well with clients who have already begun their journey of self-discovery and healing, who are curious about themselves and are open to trying new things. Perhaps you have already experienced psychotherapy and you did not get from it quite what you hoped. My clients often report difficulties in their relationships, self-limiting beliefs, anxiety, depression, bereavement or unacknowledged and unresolved childhood trauma. I am interested in spirituality, sexuality, parts work, generational trauma, dysfunctional family life, the nervous system, self-harm, developmental and event trauma, relational and somatic work.
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with the gestalt approach. I am a creative therapist who enjoys venturing into the unknown with my clients. I believe that people are their own best experts and I see my role as supporting clients to discover themselves rather than pushing them towards some predefined notion of health or success.
I understand that life can feel hard and overwhelming at times. We all deserve some support. I see therapy as not only for a crisis, but as ongoing self care and exploration.
