Hey There, Trauma can present as symptoms connected to nervous system disregulation, such as anxiety, depression, low mood, negative thinking, destructive behaviour, difficulty in experiencing emotion, lack of drive and enthusiasm, isolation, a lack of trust in others and a fear of connection or poor relationships, dissociative tendencies and hyper sensitivities. I work with cutting edge methods including Brainspotting and the SSP (safe sound protocol) (polyvagal theory) that are grounded in the most recent developments in neuro science and how we understand the impact of our early environment on our here and now adult experiences.
I offer a neuro affective relational model, Brainspotting, that addresses thinking patterns and nervous system dis-regulation caused by trauma. My work is effective in restoring balance and aliveness through attuned relational resonance and a model that allows access to our sub cortical processing of traumatic material.
