There are times in everyone's life when things can feel overwhelming. At others, we can find ourselves repeating unhelpful or destructive patterns in our behaviour or relationships. At these difficult, and sometimes very distressing times, therapy can, quite literally, be a life-saver. For others, therapy can be an exciting and challenging space for personal development, growth and exploration. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I work in both the NHS and as a consultant in Private Practice. I am also a senior tutor at the Minster Centre a pre-eminent training organisation for Psychotherapists.
I aim to bring different therapeutic models, methods, theories and philosophies together in a practical and principled way. My approach integrates: Psychodynamic and CBT Therapies, with a Relational and Humanistic emphasis on authentic relationship. My practice has a foundation in Mindfulness and a radical acceptance of the human condition.
