I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years' experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I support people of all ages to navigate difficult transitions, grief, challenging life events, relationship difficulties or recover from recent or historic traumatic experiences.
I work with you to understand your difficulties and ways of coping in the contexts of your unique life experiences, identities and wider realities. I also help explore any patterns in your relationships, both with yourself and others, and if those help or hinder your ability to live your life in line with your hopes and values.
Guided by our shared understanding, I draw on a range of approaches including systemic, attachment-focused, cognitive analytic (CAT), and narrative exposure therapy (NET), to offer psychological support that is tailored to your needs, culturally aware, and builds on your strengths and resources to increase self-awareness, healing, and growth.
I appreciate that it takes courage to seek help, and it can be hard to work out exactly what you require. I offer initial meetings at your pace, where we discuss what brings you to therapy, why now, the changes you wish to see, and how I might be able to help you.
