Hi I'm Peter. I'm a CBT and EMDR therapist. I have 20+ years experience working in a range of mental and physical health settings for both children and adults. I've worked in the NHS for the past 11 years. I provide evidence based therapy for adults struggling with difficulties around their mental, psychological and emotional health and wellbeing. I understand that for many, opening up about your problems can seem really difficult. I offer a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. We will work together and go at a pace that best suits you.
Everybody is different, so therapy shouldn't be a “one size fits all” kind of approach. We will work together and complete a thorough assessment of the difficulties you are currently experiencing, creating a personalised plan based on your symptoms, specific needs, and goals to ensure you are getting what you need from therapy.
Reaching out for help can often feel quite overwhelming and finding the right help may seem difficult. Sometimes working through your problems can feel difficult, so it's important that you are as comfortable as you can be in the therapy room and with your therapist.
