During 22 years of clinical practice, I have worked for NHS as a high intensity CBT / IPT therapist , but now focus on my private practise providing CBT, Counselling and clinical supervision.
In June 2025 the Scope of Practice and Education for Counselling and Psychotherapy allocated me to Column C, which represents the highest level of training, practice, and competence, indicating advanced skills and experience in working with complex issues. I have a Masters degree and a post graduate certificate along with Senior accreditation by the BACP.
Integrated CBT and Counselling can help adapt to clients needs alongsode compassion focussed therapy.
I have extensive experience helping with anxiety; depression;OCD; trauma; insomnia; relationship difficulties ;social anxiety;feelings of rejection and bereavement with young adults & adults.
I have been described by clients as 'caring, nurturing, and gentle’. Beginning therapy can be daunting with fears of being judged or not being able to express/disclose one's feelings. This is perfectly understandable and I work to make this is comfortable , safe and effective as possible.
