I provide Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Relational Group-Analytic Therapy. Working together, we create trust and rapport to understand and address unresolved life events and dilemmas. We recognise the complexities of relating to self and others, engaging dreams, the imagination and communication to become receptive to deeper, lasting change. By working individually with an experienced clinician, or, through sharing honest communication in a supportive, facilitated group, you can develop increased agency, greater self-worth and resilience, courage to discern a new life-direction, and, the confidence to explore relationships.
I offer a secure, confidential space to help you freely communicate; to identify and initiate significant changes; acknowledge trauma and loss; negotiate life's transitions and to manage uncertainty. In individual or group therapy we explore and make conscious your deepest concerns, discern core meanings behind suffering, and seek to fulfil cherished aims.
You may be experiencing the fallout from childhood or complex life events, feeling stuck, or emotionally isolated. Perhaps this entails loss of meaning, purpose or value. Therapy can make suffering more bearable: it can help you to relinquish unhelpful ways of being and relating, and help create a wise and compassionate response to life's uncertainties,

I think that what we define as 'issues' are usually the overt expressions of complex psychological patterns that shape (and reinforce) our sense of identity and relationships. Life transitions can be unsettling, often yielding challenging realisations. Learning how to engage with therapeutic relationship(s) is the key to becoming able to accept new insights and to allow transformation.

The psychodynamic approach recognises the impact of early events in shaping future developments. You are invited to bring all of you: your dreams, hopes and an open mind, so you can participate fully in the therapeutic journey. We aim to explore past and current experiences, either 1:1 or in groups, where I encourage free-flowing exchange, curiosity, and exploration of relational dynamics.
