Sometimes it can feel as if nobody understands us or our challenges. I wonder if a particular change, loss or relationship has left you disconnected from others? Perhaps you are facing a crossroads, feeling stuck or uncertain? If you are experiencing a sense of prolonged anxiety, low mood or find yourself trying to navigate through a mixture of unsettling thoughts, taking the time to share your story in a safe space may help you find a way forward. I endeavour to provide a supportive listening relationship to enable you to explore aspects of your life causing worry, sadness or stress.
I'm a person-centred counsellor with a warm, humanistic approach. Experience of working with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, bereavement and stress. Open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm, evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm to 8pm. Sessions 60 minutes. Adults and teens 16yrs+. Unfortunately I'm not trained to work with couples or children.
Whether you consider your situation minor or major, I'll listen carefully to your concerns about what might be happening in your life. I welcome self-referrals.
