I am passionate about my work and have seen, both in my personal and professional life, the positive impact counselling can have on emotional and physical well-being. I named my service Peace of Mind as that is what I aim to help you achieve. I believe that when our mind is at peace life becomes much easier to navigate and that when we create balance in our minds, we will find it in our lives. I believe that awareness is the first step in healing or changing and so together we will explore whatever you want to bring to therapy and where possible, and more importantly if you want to, we will find solutions to help you enjoy life.
I am a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist holding a first-class honours bachelor of science degree in counselling and psychotherapy as well as a post graduate certificate in systemic therapy. I work in private practice providing interventions on an individual basis or with couples and families.
I believe strongly in the therapeutic relationship being key to change and I seek to provide an environment built on trust where together we can explore any problem you may be having. You can be assured that I will do my upmost to make you feel safe, in a non-judgmental confidential space using unconditional positive regard and empathy at all times.
