Hi and a warm welcome to my profile. As well as having a wealth of experience working with a wide range of clients, supporting them through difficult life events and personal circumstances, including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, bereavement, sexuality, and uncertainty. This includes an inclusive, confidential, and judgement-free space in which I invite clients to share whatever is weighing heavily. Together we can have a greater understanding of yourself, your relationships and life.
My main area of expertise is supporting those in crisis/trauma and the emotional impacts this can create. I believe the therapeutic relationship can encourage clients to feel safe, heard, and seen in a space that offers support, respect and acceptance. This process supports clients’ needs, and explores healthier coping strategies for a better lifestyle.
Not only offering an understanding of the client’s world and their experiences but challenging some self-beliefs can help to have a different view of your world. Counselling offers a space where all parts of the client are welcome and invited for exploration within a safe environment. This alone can help create trust and well-being.
