Do your suffer with anxiety?, then I am able to help with this. Have you engaged in therapy before and nothing seems to work, then I can help you understand why. Do you struggle to regulate your emotions? and you do not understand why, then therapy can help you explore why you have unhelpful patterns of behaviour. This may relate to early life experiences of unmet childhood need and or possible trauma. Are you in a difficult relationship? and you don't understand the reasons why, I am here to hep you navigate this lack of understanding.

I use of Cognitive Behaviour therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desentisation) for trauma based presentations and Schema therapy for childhood experiences. During our first consultation we will collaboratively discuss which type of therapy is right for you. I will ask you what it is you want from therapy via an initial assessment.

I am passionate about the work I do and I can say with absolute conviction I love my job. My clients tell me that I am approachable, friendly and they find it easy to open up to me. I often use EMDR, Schema therapy and CBT, however when I use modalities such as EMDR and Schema therapy I see the biggest results in terms of change. EMDR is recognise by NICE as one of the treatments which gives the greatest outcome for PTSD. Schema therapy helps you understand why you engage in unhelpful patterns of behaviours and the impact upon your life and relationship with others.

This is one of the therapies I offer to anyone wanting to delve deeper into their traumatic experiences. I can offer this either online or face to face.
