I offer private psychotherapy to patients and clinical supervision to clinicians.
Life can be difficult at times and a period of psychotherapy may support you to find out what has been going on for you. Whether feeling depressed, anxious, having experienced trauma or questioning your next step, psychotherapy can help you explore unconscious emotions to feel better and stabilise what feels unsettling.
You might need a few sessions or a bit longer. Slot on Wed 7.30pm. Sessions are set for 50 minutes per week on Zoom. Supervision sessions are fortnightly or monthly pending on need.
With over 30 years of experience since I joined the NHS in the early 90s I have worked with a variety of emotional difficulties. You may have experienced a recent loss, trauma or feeling tensely anxious, developed obsessional behaviours or change in eating patterns. Relationships can be difficult or you may be evaluating your feelings and thinking of change.
A consultant clinical psychologist and accredited MBT psychotherapist and training in ISTDP, working in the NHS and have an evening practice offering psychotherapy to adults with emotionally adversed experiences who feel lacklustre, anxious and experiencing a difficult relationship with themselves and others. I also offer clinical supervision to clinicians.
