About
During our lives we can all encounter times of difficulties and challenges, sometimes these experiences can take us by surprise and be unsettling. Counselling can give you the place to explore this, see patterns emerging and find within yourself ways of understanding the impact your past experience can have on life now. Then after developing your own ways of understanding, exploring how to move forward with renewed self-awareness and confidence.
I have specialist knowledge in working with clients who have experienced traumatic experiences resulting in PTSD. I have worked in the NHS as a nurse and supervisor, supporting staff through the emotional impact of their work. In addtion I have had specialist training and worked with pregnancy loss, stillbirth, traumatic labour and abortion.
I provide a supportive, non-judgemental and confidential online counselling environment in which you are given time and space to understand and gain insight into your situation and how to move forward from there. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions prior to booking an appointment.
