Hi I'm Paula, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Looking for a counsellor can be a daunting experience and finding the right counsellor for you is a very important decision. One of the most important parts is finding a counsellor you 'click' with. My approach to therapy is to be a calm, compassionate presence, down to earth but also practical. We often want practical tools and knowledge to help make changes or face life's ups and downs. I aim to help you learn about yourself, process how you feel, cope better and find new ways to move forward.
As a trauma counsellor I have worked with adults on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, intimacy, self esteem, anger, and loss. My approach is tailored to your needs as we explore together what the barriers are to you reaching your goals and of living a life with more peace and contentment. I also offer EFT 'tapping'
