Seeking therapy is a sign of courage in the depths of conflict. Currently, you may be troubled or overwhelmed, not knowing what is happening either within you, your partner or communicatively between your couple. To be understood and appreciated while conveying the same qualities to another person is an essential component of any satisfying relationship, but it is one that takes an emotional commitment from those involved in finding a resolution. The question I often ask my clients is, "Can you bear the difference of the other, or even tolerate the possibility that they may have a different perspective to the one in your mind?"
I have been fortunate, through my work in the private sector, to have a wealth of travel and personal experience behind me that has enabled me to meet people from various cultures, classes and emotional dispositions. These experiences, alongside my training, serve to inform my practice with understanding and empathy, within a robust therapeutic setting.
I have a sympathetic character and aim to assist others who may be trying to turn inner conflicts into a reflective adulthood where experiences from the past can be viewed from a differing, conscious perspective. Consequently, promoting mental wellbeing. I specialise in relationships with couples and include relationship therapy when seeing individuals.
