Hi there! I am a Trauma specialist working across the lifespan. I support people that have experiences of trauma, anxiety & low mood and/or that are facing challenges relating to self-esteem, sexuality, gender identity, oppression and prejudice. I offer an open and trusting space that is co-produced, trauma informed and psychosocially minded with the aim of supporting people to rebuild a sense of safety and empowerement that allows them to address and process the difficulties they are facing. Together, we will explore what might be the best use of the therapeutic space-to ensure that it is helpful and addressing need.
Some people start therapy because they want to learn helpful strategies to manage their emotions and feel better in their every day lives. Other people prefer to have a reflective space to look into experiences that have been or still prove very difficult, and/or to consider the way they connect with themselves and others.
Therapy needs to work for you. And finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is incredibly key in the process.
