Thanks for visiting my page. I have some capacity to offer therapy in my independent practice to individuals, couples and families, I am able to work with those who present with a range of difficulties. I’m registered with the U.K.C.P and AFT as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, and the N.M.C as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. I have extensive experiences over 2 decades of working within the NHS at a senior level, in adult secondary mental health services, CAMHS, and statutory social care. I offer supervision and training, alongside direct therapy.
As a family therapist I work with people with an awareness of their systems, context and histories, not seeing people in isolation of these important factors. I value psychological formulation, and co-constructing stories/ narratives, within a trauma informed approach in my therapy.
Finding the right therapist for you is evidenced based to be the best predictor of positive outcomes, so take your time, and listen to your responses. This is called therapeutic alliance.
