Hiya, I'm Paul, a Gestalt Psychotherapist. Do you feel that you need affirming therapeutic support? There may be a number of reasons for this - trauma, depression, anxiety, work - related stress, bereavement, low self-esteem, family or relationship problems, addiction or issues around gender and sexuality. As an empathetic male therapist with considerable experience of trauma work from working with one of the UK's leading mental health charities, I will work with you in a safe, allowing, non - judgemental and impartial way so that you heal in a way that is absolutely appropriate for you.
Your experience is totally unique to you and I will always validate that, allowing you to grow your awareness with me. However you are, healing comes from the strength and feeling of trust from the therapeutic relationship and I will support you to be authentically you in the moment with me in a friendly and informal way. I don't come with a fixed agenda.
It can require a leap of faith to try therapy if it's your first time so I do my best to make it feel as relaxing, emotionally safe and supportive as possible, it has been likened to coffee shop style! I offer a free 30 minute online or telephone conversation in order to see how you feel with me. I make this as informal and informative as possible.
