I support clients with a wide range of issues, especially those struggling with family and childhood trauma, chronic health issues, health anxiety and burnout in the workplace.
For me, the aim of therapy is to connect you with your joy. It's about helping you find your smile again. You are important and you deserve to be happy.
One phrase I often hear is, "I've never told anyone this before." I aim to provide a safe space where sharing difficult things and lifting the burden becomes possible. Working together in a supportive and confidential environment, we can explore your experiences and find a way forward that works for you.
A therapist's own lived experience matters, because empathy creates connection and connecting with my clients is key to my approach. I've lived with Parkinson’s Disease for over 30 years, as well as other major life challenges. It's been a difficult, but enlightening journey that has made me passionate about helping others in any form of emotional distress.
You may have a clear idea of why you want to start therapy or you may wish to start because you feel confused and overwhelmed by emotions you are struggling to identify. Maybe you are looking for one or two sessions to address a specific issue or looking for longer term support. Whatever you are bringing and wherever you are starting from, I am here to help.
