We all come with issues of relating to the world in which we have grown. Having lived experience of difference has been the foundation of my practice. My Integrative approach incorporates the Intercultural model of therapy. I have worked extensively with people of various cultural backgrounds. I listen from the perspective of what is troubling you enabling an open environment for your issues to be welcomed. Working holistically, my intention is to create the confidence for your wholeness to shine through and, with warm acceptance, enable the real connection to your true self. Call for a free 15min chat to explore your needs.
The Intercultural approach enables the relationship between the client and therapist to look at all aspects of the presenting issues together. "We are our lives" the wholeness of ourselves includes our ethnic and family cultural background, and how these dynamics have caused patterns in how we function with difference. Working together we find the solutions.
Why we behave the way we do is born out of life's journey. We are all human beings first and foremost. Difficult life experiences lead to us seek support for difficult internal questions. At times we just need a place, to be heard, for our lived experience, to be diversely seen, our pain recognised, and to be our authentic selves. "To Be Me" is that space.
