I'm Sam, Have you ever asked yourself why do I feel like this?, what's wrong with me? why can't I get out of bed in the morning? theses are all normal questions .Then let me ask you some simple questions, What's having a big impact on you and your life ? ,how do you move on ? Having someone who you trust to talk it over with , someone who will listen , Not judge you, but all you might need to do is offload to someone who gets it! .And be able to talk openly about everything that has either happened or is happening in your life can be a welcome release.
I am trained in working with children and young people ,this covers many issues that they are struggling with which includes anxieties, transitioning to new schools or moving home ,it can be a daunting time to be a child or young person . alongside this also work with bereavement , grief, family issues including Domestic violence and historic abuse.
I trained to be a counsellor as I was previously a mental health housing officer working with a variety of issues including self-harm, suicidal ideation and domestic violence but to name a few. I can relate and understand the issues that parents and families have to deal with.
