I specialise in EMDR, which can be absolutely transformative in healing from trauma, as well as a large range of other emotional difficulties. I am an EMDR therapist, accredited integrative therapist and clinical supervisor. I have a warm and authentic approach, and offer a safe and non-judgmental space where I aim to support your autonomy. I have experience working with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, depression, relationship or family issues, eating disorders, abuse, grief and loss, separation, and suffering/witnessing traumatic events. My fee is £65 per 50-minute session.
EMDR is an advanced psychotherapy which is included in the NICE guidelines and approved by the NHS and the World Health Organisation as an effective treatment for processing traumatic distress and emotional difficulties. These may present as negative emotions, beliefs, body sensations or mental images and can contribute to a variety of mental health issues.
I integrate various therapeutic approaches alongside EMDR, and run my therapy practice online using Zoom. I often work in a person-centred way, so I aim support you in exploring your issues, emotions and beliefs, and help you to gain insight and autonomy so you can work towards managing both present and future challenges independently.
