A warm welcome to you. My aim is to provide you with an opportunity to explore what is happening for you and how you would like things to be different. I would like you to have a space in which you can feel safe, allowing you to develop an understanding of yourself and the steps you need to make so you can live the life you want to. I aim to help you to simplify complex situations so that they make sense to you. This can offer clarity so that I can support you to take practical steps to make changes. I have a strong interest in the biopsychosocial approach, considering a variety of factors which lead to you being who you are.
I have been qualified for over 15 years, accredited with BABCP. CBT is the Gold Standard Treatment, NICE. Working within the NHS, private hospital and charities. I am experienced in working with people who are experiencing a range of things including Depression, Anxiety Disorders (OCD, panic, GAD, etc), PTSD and Trauma, Relationships, are some of the many.
I provide a safe space for you to think about and explore what is happening for you, how you would like things to be different. Initially we discuss what has brought you to seek help, I can explain the way we could work. Together to develop an understanding of your difficulties, how these are maintained and develop strategies to help you overcome them
