A comprehensive assessment is always undertaken as a first step. This ensures clients have a good understanding of the process of therapy and can discuss in advance what approaches might be most useful for them. I draw on a range of evidence based approaches including EMDR, CBT and systemic practice.
I qualified in clinical psychology from the University of East Anglia in 2009. Since then I have worked full time with children, young people and families in NHS and Local Authority settings. I currently hold a consultant grade post working with adults.
