Welcome! If you have arrived here at my page I imagine it is because you have been experiencing distress or personal difficulties, and that you are therefore seeking some help. It may also be that you are seeking a deeper understanding of your relationships, or of your life as a whole. People come to me for many reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, bereavement, relationship problems, depression, addiction, low self-esteem or something you can’t quite grasp but that is troubling you. I have a wide and deep experience of working successfully with people with differing issues and from differing backgrounds.
Counselling Works Because… Counselling works in part simply because the act of talking with someone who is not a family member or in your immediate circle, can be very helpful in gaining a new perspective about what is going on for you. The benefit of a neutral confidential space is something I regularly hear from clients I work with. In addition my approach is to ask questions and ‘thought experiments’ that can assist you in finding your own creative solutions to whatever is troubling you.
It Can Feel Strange... It can feel strange to find that you are considering consulting a counsellor. But I hope that you will find that informal meetings with me will feel natural and helpful in connecting with your own inner resources, strengths and insights.
