I'm Owen, a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience in the NHS.
We all go through tougher chapters from time to time and can get caught up struggling with stress, anxiety or low mood. Sometimes we need support to navigate problems in relationships or the emotional impact of physical illness, ageing or loss. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to help my clients deal with such issues, aiming to empower them to develop skills that they can draw upon for the rest of their lives.
I work in partnership with clients from our first contact in order to tailor my approach to suit your needs and preferences.
I am trained in using a range of evidence-based talking therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I am particularly passionate about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients live a more fulfilling life by doing more of what matters most to them personally by using techniques to overcome thoughts or other issues in the way.
