Hello and welcome, I am Marie, a person-centred counsellor. I am aware of how anxious you may feel asking for help, and coping with overwhelming feelings. Finding a safe, caring and non-judgemental space within a therapeutic relationship is the first step and a great relief. A space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and experiences in an unbiased, supportive and confidential environment. I will help you to make sense of your past or present experiences, allowing you to become clear and confident.
I will listen to whatever you wish to bring to your 50 minute session. I specialise Adult Counselling as well as in Child and Adolescent Counselling. If your child is having difficulties, bring them along. Creative therapy allows you to find a way of expressing yourself beyond traditional talking therapies.
I invite you to take the first step into Person-Centred Counselling. Creative therapy can include art therapy, sand play, writing or drama therapy. Mainly used with children but play therapy can be a useful way to work with adults. It may help children to work through their anxieties and difficulties. I will help you to understand your experiences.
