I believe everyone should have the opportunity to try therapy and have space to work on things that may be holding them back, causing difficulties or affecting daily life. We all have a story, and therapy offers that opportunity to tell your story in a safe, comfortable, non-judgemental environment, confidentially.
As an integrative counsellor I approach each client, working with the person as a whole, using a variety of theoretical approaches based on what comes up, what feels comfortable and which approaches help you to progress in your journey building understanding and self acceptance. We all deserve to be heard.
I work in a relational way to ensure that my clients and I are in a comfortable therapuetic relationship in which we can explore what it is they need, but also attending to their emotional needs.
I also believe it is important to be flexible, understanding, and empathethic as a therapist and this is imperative in my practice with a person centred base.
We all go through difficult things in life, and I understand that it can be hard to reach out to find the right help and support during those times too. We are all human, and it is so important that we can have someone there to hear us out and listen, as this is something we don't always have access to either. As your therapist I can work alongside you.
