I am Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over ten years experience working across a range of clinical services, including neurorehabilitation, learning disabilities, child and adult mental health, as well as youth and adult forensic services. I frequently work with people who are experiencing distress due to problems with their work and am particularly interested in supporting those who are experience stress, depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
My clinical specialisation is in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and much of my work has focussed on recovering from occupational trauma in the military and the rail industry. Working with the Rail Safety and Standards Board, I lead the health and wellbeing strategy for the rail industry.
I primarily work therapeutically using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), but draw on a range of models to meet clients’ unique needs, such as Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
