Announcement icon I currently offer sessions exclusively online. I will review this policy in early 2022.
Hello, I'm Helen. I'm a Counselling Psychologist, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a member of the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors. I've worked in the NHS, the educational and charitable sectors, and in academia as a Lecturer on a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. In my private practice, I work with people experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, family and relationship problems, abuse, stress, and more. I'm particularly experienced in working with issues relating to death and dying, bereavement, life transitions, personal identity and values, and self-worth.
I offer online sessions to individuals via Zoom and FaceTime. As a Counselling Psychologist, I’m trained in several forms of therapy, including person-centred, existential-phenomenological, psychodynamic, and CBT. This enables me to tailor the way I work to best suit your unique therapeutic needs, goals, and preferences.
Therapy is a significant investment in yourself, so it’s important that you take time to find the right therapist for you. As your therapist, I'll meet you with empathy, warmth, and the utmost respect. Together, we'll work to explore the issues you’ve brought to therapy, and to develop new ways of being that accord with your values and aspirations.
