I am a Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Autogenic Therapist and offer Individual Psychotherapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Infant Parent Psychotherapy and Autogenic Training (meditative self-help technique for children and adults). The approach of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists seeks to look beneath the surface of difficult emotions, behaviours and relationships to help young people and their families to understand themselves and their problems. In addition to my private practice, I work for Oxford CAMHS and teach at the Tavistock Clinic in London.
I can help with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties from pregnancy to young adulthood (-25), including: depression, anxiety, self-harm, behavioural difficulties, difficulty attending school, low self-esteem, trauma, loss, bereavement, and sexuality and gender identity difficulties.
As an Autogenic Therapist I can help with stress-related difficulties and anxiety in childhood and adulthood. Autogenic Therapy includes different self-help approaches and aims to improve general well-being, emotional balance, coping ability, concentration, self-confidence and quality of sleep. When practised regularly, it can reduce pain and anxiety.
