Specialist therapy for OCD and Eating Disorders so you can live a happier, healthier life. If you or someone you love suffers from an eating disorder or OCD it can be incredibly distressing and serious. I understand the complex issues around anorexia, bulimia and OCD and how to use techniques such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). This is your first step towards recovery. You can be free from your obsessions and compulsions and problems with food, body image and exercise. The first step is simply to talk about what's going on with an empathetic and understanding person.
I have long experience working in the National Eating Disorders and OCD Services in the NHS. I still work there part time in a large team of doctors, psychologists, dieticians, occupational therapists, and specialist nurses. This gives me the opportunity to continue to learn from colleagues and patients, and also to contribute to and support the NHS.
I understand this can be terrifying: whether it's restrictive eating, guilt and shame around food, over-exercising, rigid thinking and routines, bingeing and purging, OCD, depression, anxiety or anything else. We will work together using graded exposure exercises (ERP). You can begin to regain your freedom and live the life you never thought you deserved.
