At a loss on how to best support you child with their mental health and behaviours? All behaviour served a purpose even supported at some point in life. This may no longer serve now, but still repeats, and now hinders relationships to others and self. Art therapy enables exploring the art work together to discover their journey to wellness. Achieved with a short term, goal based intervention. I work with schools to provide therapy on site to support ease of access and prevent disruptions. Providing tools and resources to help regulation, recognise own needs and how these can support external to the therapy room.
You do not need a diagnosis to attend art therapy. I have specialism
with working with individuals who have/experienced:- trauma and loss, domestic abuse, ADHD, Autism, behaviour that challenges, School refusers, Self-harm
, Suicidal thoughts, Anxiety, Depression, Adults with learning disabilities, Non- verbal individuals, SEND children, sleep issues
I have worked with 100s of families. I have witnessed families who have suffered before getting the right support for their child and the distress it had caused.
