I keep my fees low, because I am mindful of the current cost of living. My business is named NuVista (new view/Horizon) because it was born from my vision and indeed my own personal journey that counselling or talking therapy can give people a new view of life once they, with my help have explored and untangled the issues that are currently having a negative impact on your life or your work, your relationships or your family life, it could be your sexuality or even historical events that have been rendered unconscious or hidden and never spoken about. For me the goal or vision was to have a new outlook on life - a New View.
My approach is working Integratively, combining the core therapies of person centred, psychodynamic and behavioural tailored to individual client needs. Specialising in LGBTQ+ issues Addictions, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Issues. I pride my self on my Down to earth approach, understanding all my clients needs borne from my own personal experience..
Seeing my clients change week by week, confidence growing, no longer drowning in their issues, out of the water and safe on dry land, a great therapist/client relationship developing based on trust, empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence and hopefully seeing them leave therapy with a new view on life is in itself a reward or a gift to me.
