Hi, I'm Nuala and I am an integrative therapist, qualified to work with both adults and children. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their professional standards and guidelines. I draw on a range of approaches to suit my client’s individual needs and goals.
I offer a focused series of 6–12 sessions to work through a specific issue which is causing distress, or longer-term counselling to deepen self-understanding, make meaningful changes and improve health and wellbeing.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. My aim is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. I strive to tune in to how you experience the world so that together we can explore your challenges and discover new ways forward.
Effective therapy relies on you feeling comfortable and able to connect with your therapist so I offer a 20 minute initial phone conversation where you can decide if I am someone you feel able to work with. I offer both face-face and online sessions.
