An experienced occupational therapist of 30 years I have a background in physical disabilities and complex Injuries and trauma including head injury. Skilled in injury rehabilitation, I decided to train as a CBT therapist in order to help people recover from the psychological trauma as well as their physical injuries. I am also trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and I am currently training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am a skilled, empathic and highly experienced therapist with a strong interpersonal and collaborative focus. My aim is to help you develop the knowledge and tools to work towards achievable goals as you become the expert in solving your problems whether your issues are fundamentally routed in your mental health or complicated by physical injury or trauma.
