I'm Nova, I offer counselling in person, or outdoors (your chosen place), and online.
A background in supporting people and working with trauma gives strong foundations to my therapy work. My approach is relational, and I believe different things work for different people at different times.
Working together we create a compassionate, calm space where you are heard and validated.
We work with what you bring in ways which work for you. Different methods offer various ways of working together to achieve the changes you seek.
Shaping a safe enough space is vital to developing curiosity, exploring, gaining insights and reconnecting with yourself.
Together we work with your preferences to identify any issues and uncover your natural tendencies, resources and strengths. I can support you to make sense, to heal, and to move forwards feeling more grounded and balanced.
I work with a wide range of therapeutic issues, and have extensive experience working with neurodivergent people, and working with trauma. I adapt my practice to suit your needs.
My approach can be helpful to those who find it difficult to express themselves, are uncomfortable sitting still and speaking, or who might feel hesitant to begin therapy.
