I offer a service to people looking for help to: manage their weight, to manage stress and emotional struggles and to engage in positive habits and reduce unhelpful habits to improve health and well-being. You may have struggled in your relationship with food for many years and would now like help to make life-long changes for better health and so that you can be slimmer and/ or fitter. You may have experience of: physical health conditions and pain, mental health problems and/or trauma during your childhood and/or in adulthood
I mostly use a Compassion Focused Therapy approach to reduce emotional struggles by reducing shame and self-criticism. Mindfulness and Health Behaviour Change can help to make small sustainable changes in your day-to-day habits and behaviours, to help you live life more in line with your values and with less food-related struggle.
