Talking through personal feelings and experiences, with someone you trust not to judge, allows healing, acceptance, self care and awareness develop. Some may need to explore early years experiences to better understand the impact early experiences may have had. Others may want to start with understanding themselves in current relationships with others. It may be certain anxiety triggers or behaviours that someone may want to work through, or a general sense of low mood and lack of motivation. Each person is unique and accessing support can feel like a big step.

For 16 years+ I have worked with addictions, complex mental health and also people who may just want to simply understand themselves a little better. I am currently studying for a Masters in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also have a BA (Hons) Abuse studies, counselling diploma and extensive training in Psychosocial Interventions, CBT and ITEP.
I am able to offer face to face sessions (limited availability), online or telephone counselling to individuals. Offering a safe space to build good strong rapport, and trust are essential steps towards successful outcomes. Listening is the only way to truly understand someones experiences only then can therapy be tailored to fit someone's needs well.
